Vagrant Moth Demos: The Second
01 Cartier
Meet me at the summer country home
Meet me at our yard
God gave us all the voices to say
"Hey come and celebrate"
Meet me on the open highway
Meet me in the field
Todd brought us all some beers to drink
So pack the tent you dink
02 Surfaced Tension
Can't breathe
Can't fly
03 Tribal Festival
Come on down to the festival
04 Headless Chicken
I don't know where you put all that drink
Cuz baby, you stink of treason
05 Lake Of The Woods
No words
06 In Dangered
No words
07 Smooth Flavor
I stumble upon the harvest
The Vagrant Moth Demos: One
03 Wear The Rain Jacket Walking Bird
(the walker):
walking inside
away from events in the sky
hiding our lives
from lightning strike
safe in our hiding place
dreaming of light
keeping out of sight
(the weather man):
the view from just below the storm clouds
our canopy caught in gusts
sending flocks off branches to fly
throwing protective leaves at the ground
down there does trek
a new species of wings
placed on creatures with bloodlines for flight
but headtrips for storms
and they walk
(the walker):
the threat in the sky
never will it die
fly can't fly
so open a wide eye
walk in a sky line
fight it our lie
because never will it die
fly no i
will open up wide
look out side
leaking in the walls
weather shows
that i am at war with
nothing but my wounded wings
(the weather man):
empty branches gave way to empty fields
powerlined perimeter mocking natural perches
their dream is hot, overprotective, lifeless energy
false branches do strike
killing those who sit too content
with being blown out of a homes protection
onto open spaced poles humming lies
the space held surrounded
by powerlines
false protection
no air no trees no home
only hope for shelter here
gather rain jackets!
(the walker):
the threat in the sky
never will it die
fly can't fly
so open a wide eye
walk on a sky line
light in the sky
never will it die
fly no i
will open up wide
look out side
Surface Tension
Sunrise... Light breaks through. You awaken to find yourself lost, floating in water motionless and tense, Haileys gentle waves calling us from above. If only there wasn't this tension trapping you below. These tides of emotion, so strong, being driven by your mortal pain. Caused by seperation and causing you further seperation from the surface. She continues to call you, so you gasp for air, taking in water and drowning. Chaos. With outstretched arms you try to call to her for help, for solace but the water is thick. Blackness. You come to near shore and finally, at the surface. Gasping for air, regurgitating the diseased waters, now waiting amongst the rocks for the next tide. The surface is calm for now. But the waves are ever changing... Nightfall.
